John shipped this knife directly to my wife and didn't post any pics of it so as to keep me in suspense until today.

I got in on the pocketmuk action! I didn't have John make a sheath for it as my intention is to keep it in the kitchen as my all around, small utility/paring knife which I really don't have right now. Eventually I'll probably get Noah to make me a pocket sheath so I can use this guy out at the smoker/grill as well.

I love this blade. This is something about the knives that John makes - you open the box and instantly feel as if the knife has some soul to it and is screaming to be used.

I cut open a ton of Xmas stuff with it. My two year old got a crap load of stuff with a million peices. :)

I can't wait to get this blade dirty. I'll probably be cooking tomorrow's dinner so it'll see plenty of use.

Here are some pics - thanks again for a cool knife John!

I love it. That looks like a great fit to your hand.
Merry Christmas!!!

Glad you like it. Personally I really like how the hollow pins look on this model with the red micarta.

Hi outdoorsfan -

Awesome! Good on your lovely bride!

That is a very nice looking knife - I have never had the pleasure of messing with a Nessmuk style blade.

I did not get any knives for Christmas, but I generally take care of those needs for myself!

Thanks for the pictures - and of course any more you get of in-use shots will be appreciated!

best regards -

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, John - I love hollow pins now. Ever since that first blade you made for me. I don't think I'll go back.
