No reason to perform one of my favorite pastimes of looking at other knives.

Phoo! It IS....my.... perfect one and embodies everything I've ever wanted in a knife. (light, great edge holding, proper blade length, the whole shootin match.

But...NOW.... nothing else even gets my pupils dilated.

BEWARE!
THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU!!!

:eek::):)

I've even relegated my Fallkniven FH-9 to the drawer. :(

its not over yet, now you have to buy one of the spyderco salts since they are very similar to that endura 3. how about a black pacific salt?

But what do you do if you have to wear a tux? There's also traveling to the UK to consider. What will your girlfriend/boyfriend carry? You might also like different handle colors. Is it stonewashed? Titanium's pretty lightweight. Have something with bearings? Flipper AND bearings? What about bronze washers and a flipper to compare? Is a Spydie hole better than the one on a Mcusta Tactility? Just how grippy is that crap Keyman uses on his scales? You know, the stuff that's all fuzzy. D/A OTFs are kinda cool...

Have a ball.

Lol...SO happy for you! Enjoy it! But If you already have a pastime of looking at knives I wager you'll eventually find another knife that tickles your fancy eventually. ;)

I'm planning on ordering another SE Pacific Salt first thing tomorrow morning.. So it seems we have very similar taste my friend. If you're in the market for a fully SE version of practically the same knife, I'd highly recommend the Pacific Salt.

The Gen 2 & 3 Endura & Delica are my all time favorites. That is the "modern" knife that ended up getting me hooked on Spyderco big time.

I understand exactly what you mean , OP. I found my perfect knife in the Yojimbo2 S90V. I love every single thing about it. So much in fact that I bought a bunch of them just to own. I carry one and the rest remain tucked away safe and perfect.

But I think in time you will find other knives appealing. I haven't even considered buying another knife in the last few months. But over the last week or two there are some that continue to beckon me. The Chubby , the K2 and even a fixed blade by the name of Ronin2.

All in good time.

Your taste might change. I know that has happened to me throughout my collecting career.

Nothing is ever over. I thought that with one of my knives but now I want another one, it did last for a good 6 months and I still love it to bits but you are still one of the afflicted, and more knnives will come your way, just at a reduced pace.

Happened to me.
Ever since I got my Sebenza, I just....don't want anything else. I know I won't carry it anyways.

Hey, didja notice the cool deep carry clip I improvised off of a Native?
Huh? Didja notice that?

SO cool.

Nothing, never, nohow, nowhere can win me away from this, my lovely new (?) Endura with the
PROPER POINTY TIP !!!

;):D

lol I thought I found the one. Since then there have been about 25 knives that have been good enough to be the one.

I was at that same place. Even OWNED a Gen 3 Endura. Traded it away.
With age comes analysis.
It's WAY better than I remembered. Course, they were no longer available.

But a $33 bid on ebay got it.

YAY!

NOW.....the rest of my knives can go to the grandkids. Or wherever.:)
