It's been a long time coming. I found a street vendor selling them cheap..... Kidding, got it from Cutlery Shoppe. I have to say, I love it! This is my 9th Spyderco and in like fashion, it doesn't disappoint. I'm keeping all of my others too, but this will be my outdoor, hiking and camping blade.

It looks lovely. Glad to hear you finally snagged one for yourself. I love my PM2 as well. I got two for the price of one from a street vendor near me.

I just got mine yesterday too and its perfect! I had ordered the Caly 3.5 CF for my first Spyderco and I liked it but wasn't in love, carbon fiber just isn't my thing along with the back lock. So I sent that one back.

Decided to give it another try and when I opened the box I knew instantly this was a keeper. Love the G10 (my first G10 knife), love the grip options, blade, blade finish, weight, love everything about it. This was much cheaper than the Caly too.

Before this I had a Ritter Mini Grip M390 and several Case and GEC knives.

Great knife! Got my all black yesterday and the hype is true it's awesome.

vary nice, the PM2 i would say has curve's like a woman! and unlike any other spyderco i have owned, fills the hand,i my self have three of them and loving them all.

what did you guys all pay? I have some Amazon gift cards to use so I am kinda stuck with that but I still want to feel like I am getting a good deal.

i think i paid about $115. for the plane black/silver version, forgot where i picked up though! if you get for under 130.i think its well worth it,such a grate knife to own.;)

Looks like the plain black g10 is about $115 now on Amazon so not too bad I guess.... Looking forward to my first spyderco!

Prices are quite a bit steeper here in Switzerland, but the PM2 is still worth the price paid. Great knife.

Never sell it.

I was torn between keeping the PM2 plain Jane I recently bought or the old D2 PM1 I never could make myself use. The PM2 made the decision for me by getting lost in the mechanism of my rocking recliner. When I found it the poor thing was twisted and misaligned to the point I had to disassemble and put it back together to get everything lined up again and the G10 had permanent indentations. That makes it the keeper, so the D2 was sold for a nice bit of change.

Nice knife. I love the compression lock makes things so simple. I try to rotate mine but always graby pm2.

it's a weird phenomenon ... every time I've sold a PM2 out of my collection, another one is always bought. The only knife I can say that about.

I recently purchased a (third) PM2 - I have been trying to like them for about 2 yrs now, and it's been a struggle. I like a lot about the PM2, but the handle scales are a near miss that detract from the overall win of the knife (that's been my most common experience with the 5 Spyderco models I've tried); and, accordingly, the knife never gets used. This time, before ordering the PM2, I ordered a set of hard anodized aluminum scales from Casey Lynch. It's a great improvement, IMO, and pretty much transforms the knife - more comfortable, smoother opening...this is the knife I've wanted the PM2 to be.

hh^ Try an Endura.
btw, I find the Aluminum handle to be cold.
Yes, if one tires of their Para, just put it away. You'll be back for it.
