I finally got my web site to where it is viewable. It is a work in progress like the Bowie Knife I started a few years ago. I still need to work on the front page but as I said it is viewable. All comments are welcome good or bad as this is a learning process.

Don't use www. as that takes you to Chris Crawford And a Guy Riding a bicycle
Thank you for looking

Hi dave,

Please change the semi colon [;] after the first 's' to a colon [:]

Your knives are really nice by the way. I love the first one pictured in available knives.

You certainly make nice stuff! I especially like the "utility hunter" and the "caper" and would have expected to have to pay higher prices.

You may consider insetting photos that highlight some of the more distinctive features of each knife. For instance, your "personal knife" has mosaic pins through the bolsters, a very nice effect. At first, my old eyes thought that you had screwed the bolsters on with philips head screws, which is not as nice.

Making the "click to enlarge" text a large font would help old guys like me.

The "Example Knives" and "Knife Gallery" sections seem to duplicate each other though you may have something in mind for the future.

The "Avalable", "Example" and "Gallery" sections seem to be wider than the screen with my computer/browser. Perhaps shrinking the size of the photos would help the layout.

In your front page, a short explanation of what "the Knifemakers" and IHMSA would give them more weight. I don't know about others, but a photo of the maker tends to make me feel more like I have "met" them. It would help people recognize you if you were to do a knife show.

You may also want to put a link to your web site in your signature line to make it easier for people to get there.

I wil certainly "watch this space".

Take care.

Phil

I noticed that when I clicked on "click to enlarge" a window was opened up with the same photo in the exact same size. It didn't enlarge it. Just thought I'd tell you about that.

By the way, very nice knives.

Thank you guys for the comments. As i said this is a work in progress and I should have premised that I am not a computer person or a photographer,I am a Knifemakerand that's what I do best.I am learning this computer stuff as I go along. Three months ago I didn't have a Digital camera and had never heard of Photobucket.com or had even thought of doing a web site.
As for enlarging the photoes,if you click on the enlarge photo on the top it will bring up the picture at the same size, then if you look at the bottom of the photo you will see a zoom that you can enlarge the picture up to 400%.
I will try to figure out how to do a caloge but as of now I don't know how to do it.
Thank you again for your comments they are greatly appreciated.
