Finally got one of my Grail knives a Ti Tyrade

I just love the looks of the composite blade on these and finally found a nice one. It's probably not a good edc but I just got it to look at and fondle. Anyone know how many of these they made? Excuse me while I get back to my fondling.

I was in Atlanta when the Tyrade model 1850 won the 2007 Blade Show "Overall Knife of the Year". Liked 'em so much, I bought 5 of them. I seem to recall that 2000 were made. Can anyone confirm?

I bought one a couple years ago, and accidentally dropped it in a parking lot. Some scrapes on the handle, no edge damage, but ever since then, I've been happy to carry it, and have enjoyed the beauty.

Thanks for all the great quotes guys. That orange is awsome. I didn't realize that the Tyrade was overall blade of the year. I'll have to go back through the old Blade Mags.

spec bump is the mini, then the tyrade, then the ZT 350 - the largest. All three are great.
