Finally Got One: Spyderco Sage 3

I have been lusting for one of these for some time now. I came across this one in basically brand new condition with the box on a certain auction website earlier this week. I had to get it, and boy am I glad I did.
I can already tell this will be one of my favorites. It has everything I love about my Manix 2, but without the heft and with a FFG blade.

Here are some pics I took of it with some other familiar knives.

Fit/Finish are excellent, as expected. The action is also buttery smooth.

The Sage 3 doesn't get enough love on the boards. I think it is a very slick overall design also. Green or brown G10 are the only thing that would improve it for me.
 
I love the blue, personally. I guess you could always dye it black, however. This thing is amazing. I can see why the Sage series has a somewhat cult following now!
 
You just made me go into my knife box to get my sage 3 out . Its going into my pocket to be edc for a week .
 
Your knife looks great. I have the Sage 2, but the 3 has been on my list for a while now, just haven't gotten around to buying it yet. The blue G10 looks great and it has the excellent Sage DNA, so you know it's going to be good. Definitely one of Spyderco's best series of blades.
 
I really like the look of this knife and was thinking of getting a sage. What does the g10 feel like on the 3? I heard it was smooth? I like some grip on my g10. Is the lock on the 3 smooth like the ball lock on the manix 2?
 
On my to get list but haven't pulled the trigger maybe santa will come thru if Im good.

The G10 is like the Manix, and the lock seems a little softer/smoother.
