Finally got out for a stroll in the woods today.

After much wanting to and the holidays, and catching up on knife orders I finally got to head to the woods today. I took the shotgun in hopes of maybe finding a couple of grouse. No luck with that but had a good time walking around in the snow. Last night here it was minus 7 and when I went to the woods it was 21 so a nice warm up since this morning. I saw a bunch of deer sign, a bunch of squirrels nests , and even had a couple of visitors near by. What a great time just wandering. Doug

Thanks brians for the compliments on the pictures. I took the old Mossberg bolt action 16 GA. 3 shot. it is heavy but it still shots good. I thought about taking the new bow and even doing some stump shooting, but there is enough snow I did not want to start loosing arrows already. udtjim thanks for your comments as well. you need to visit that forum now and then Doug
