Take my Mistress out for a bite to eat … I just love first dates. :D

The trail out to the woods behind my house suffered a lot of downed trees from the ice storm back in December.
She jumped in on the first tree without a second thought. Such an aggressive one, she is…

Things were going great so, on we go…
She started out chopping away at the top… just a few bites and she had the top foot or so cut clean off.

When she finished, she was mumbling and grumbling something about Garth starving her…
and Amy-0 always teasing her with cheesecake while she was away at the shop. :eek:

She apologized for chewing up the tree top so quickly and said she was just so hungry she couldn’t wait.
Then said “how about we start with the limbs… work our way up to the big feast?”

She chopped through those limbs with ease. One quick bite on each did the trick… short work of them for sure.
I also like that she’s now got a nice sturdy tip… no worries for when she decides to poke around at things.

And look at her… sitting there givin’ me that “shall we” look. Guess she’s ready for the big feast.

Really had no reason to chop this thing up, other than for her appetite… and so I could have a little more fun with her. : D
She chopped her way through the trunk in about 14 or 15 bites… 4 per V cut, rotated to 4 sides…
the last one chopped through in 2 or 3 chops.

Petey jumped in to help with the clean up… hauling off some of the scraps.

Cleaned her up a little when we got back home… a little WD-40 took all the sap off quick and easy.
Washed up with a little soap and water, and she looks good as new! Only a few scratches, but not from chopping…
more from all the times I pulled her out of the sheath to fondle her. :o

So… after our first date I’ve decided she’s definitely a keeper! I’ll most likely send her back to the Custom Shop for
another tweak or two (mainly for a meltdown treatment to the Talon Hole and pommel), but that will have to wait until next winter.

Looks like a nice test run for the pair of you. The recurve makes me think that this blade is a step between a BM and the Killa on the way.

One of the things I really like about her...
well, besides all of them sexy curves,
She's the same length as a SHBM. :cool:
And with a little more tweaking, she'll have the same balance and feel / grip to her as well. :cool:
