Finally got the green light!

Well, after a few days of pestering my better half to let me buy a ZT 0561...she gave me the green light! Needless to say as soon as I got home I ordered a 0561 blem from Dave (a.k.a. Kershawguy) and it's on its way! I'm so excited! It will be my third ZT and will look nice next to my 0301 and 0350sw. Merry Christmas to ME! :D
 
Congrats. I EDC my 561. Have been every day since it first arrived earlier in the year. It was a bugger to open and close when I first got it which concerned me a bit. I turned to the forums which suggested that I just continuously open and close it to break it in. Also, to assist with the initial sticky lock I rubbed the lock face with a graphite pencil which loosened things up nicely. I'm not sure if you'll encounter the initial super strong detent or sticky lock like I did but if so, have no fear. My 561 now flies open with so little as a nudge from my index finger on the flipper. It also opens just as easily with a flick on the thumb stud. I consider it to be my favorite folder in the stable. I hope that you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine! Use the heck out of it.

Yeah, I've heard some of the "horror" stories with the 0561, but I'll keep all those quick-fixes in mind when I get mine. Hopefully I won't have any problems with it. *fingers crossed* I plan on using it alot...I just hope my other ZT's don't get too jealous :rolleyes:

Love my 561, and I haven't had one problem with mine, not one. Be prepared to feel a new level of smoothness. I have a few CRK's and I rank my 561 right up there with them in terms of quality and F&F. I like it so much I might grab another one soon, worthevery penny IMO:thumbup: Enjoy
 
I ordered the same knife from Dave, and absolutely love it. It is my new work knife and of course Dave's service and shipping was outstanding as always.
