  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I have searched for a good while for a single bit Michigan pattern boys axe. I finally got one. In the meantime April 1st I had surgery on my left foot. No weight for 7 weeks in a boot for 10 weeks. Put a serious damper on doing much outside. I hobbled to the garage cleaned it up and sharpened it. Ordered up I house handle. Got it hung . Last weekend I got to swing it. I split some small stuff and knocked down a sapling that needed gone. Made me smile.
This is the last one I wanted, I have Michigan pattern in full size single and double bit cruiser size and now the boys axe size. I have several other hatchets and axes. true temper Dayton pattern boys axe on a 24 inch handle and a little Norlund Hudson bay hatchet are on the keepers list rest will be gifted traded or sold ( rest are not vintage)

Congrats on your recovery and getting to finally use the axe! Pics!
