Took the 4" Elmax steak knife ice fishing yesterday, caught two yellow perch, a small pickerel and a small largemouth bass. This thing fillets like a laser. My first satin finished blade and it sure cleans up nice after a rinse, I honestly forgot to take pic's of the filleting, o well next time. After seasoning I cooked up the Perch fillets with some potatoes, onions, garlic, two eggs and some pumpernickel bread. Gotta love a nice day out on the ice.
Enjoy

That looks awesome. I cant wait until we get enough ice to get out on it and have a big fish fry.

The Busse Steak Knives are pretty good slicers! I was impressed how easily they glide thru ~1.5" thick steak. The .090" thick hollow-ground blades work well.

Yum! Your dinner looks delicious. The Elmax Steak Knife really is a great slicer. We use it for slicin' and dicin' around the shop.

Congrats on the days catch.
I brought a steak knife home awhile back and once my wife used it she hasnt let me have it back. Pretty much every meal in our house is prepped with elmax.
