Well, I am proud to say I am officially an owner of a Fiddleback! Sweet bushraptor with sycamore scales and hollow ground blade, yes, hollow ground! This is a slicing machine!!!!

On a different note, here is a batch I am gluing up tonight!

Congrats!

And nice batch you are working on. 4th from the left caught my eye. It will be nice to see it complete.

Yep, congrats Allen, those are beautiful scales.

Is that an old Fiddleback snubnose that I spy in the rack?

Sycamore and hollow ground ?!?! My head just spun -- I'd shave with that thing; sweet work Allen!

Sweet!! The Raptor is an awesome choice if I do say so myself :D Wow, hollow-ground? Man I bet that is a slicer! Now, just work on your convex and maybe, just maybe, between all of you guys there, I might some day actually land a tapered 5/32 one, with a high-but-not-full-height grind, with OD scales and orange liners :)

Nice looking batch of knives too man!!

too funny! Andy did the hollow grind and I went back and cleaned it up a bit. We are going to be teaching each other grind styles.

Not an old FB, these are all my designs. My work never stops! lol. Fiddleback during the day then WAS Knives at nite in my shop.

Nice Allen! Well...there's my Runt...could you just send that on over....:D

Very nice group Allen, sweet designs. What's the name of the little guy in the picture? Also, can you provide specs.

Thanks, Andy

Tapered 3/32" hollow ground... Man I'd just get in trouble with that. I had this idea for a fixed blade design based on the old Ray Rogers Razor I/II; imagine the demented love child of a Nessmuk and a fixed straight razor... Now I've just gotta convince Andy, Allen & co to make such a knife :D

Good eye Andy, first of two I have ground and put through heat treat. Not sure on the name yet. 5 1/2 OAL and a 2" cutting edge. This one is regular tang and the other I haven't picked scales for yet is tapered.

Very cool Allen. Can't wait to see that little guy finished up. It reminds me of Dozier's Arkansas traveler (a pattern that I really love) just smaller. Maybe it could be the Georgia Traveler! Ha.

Anyway, please keep me posted.

Sweet Allen! I didn't even know Andy ever did hollow grinds!

LOL third knife from the left looks like it has a smiley face drawn on it :D

Too funny! It is a "c" marked to match the scales, prevent confusion! lol. He has only tried a few but he wants me to teach him the mayhem of hollow grinding and he is going to teach me the insanty of convex grinding! lol

Sorry Allen, missed your comment about designs...that little guy is sweet...love that size knife. Mini Bantam?

Hehe, figured it was a "c" marked for something :) That'd be awesome if hollow grinds are thrown in some models once in awhile

Beautiful, Allen … not a level comparison, but seeing your new knife I was immediately reminded of the Spyderco Cento IV, which I carried for a time - a hollow ground wharncliffe of thin VG-10 stock … that thing was a light sabre - one of the best slicers I'ver ever owned, and from the looks of your Raptor I'm betting she is too! Congratulations on a very nice acquisition ...
