Finally: I got a Cryo!

I finally picked one up at GP Knives today. I can see why there was so much fuss over these little knives. The fit and finish is great, and Hinderer really knows how to design a knife. I would love one of these in about the same size an an Oso Sweet or Skyline. As it is, my current Cryo will make a really neat knife for places where I need to make sure I am under 3".

I received mine yesterday, $30 shipped from Amazon. I ordered it as a gift, but liked it so much "on paper" that I ordered one for me as well. I'll carry it when I'm wearing heavier pants like jeans. When I wear light fabric shorts, I'll go back to the Skyline.

I love my cryo. Very nice knife. Mine came centered with good lock up. No waiting for someone to make some g10 scales for it!!

Hey, good to hear from you. I am still on Talkbass, but I have really slowed down bass buying. I have turned into a big Kershaw fan because they offer so many cool knives for small money.

I love my Cryo. Great little knife with great design elements. Just sent mine off today to get customized. Can't wait to see the finished product....although, now I'm going to have to buy another one! Gonna have to hit up Kershaw Guy for my next one.

I'm still waiting on the Cryo 2. The original wasn't big enough for my taste.

I think the Cryo 2 will be a winner, but a Cryo the size of a Oso Sweet, Volt II, or Skyline would be perfect for me.

Professor, have you noticed the Cryo is mildly magnetic? The handle on my Cryo picks up paperclips.

Agreed. I really like the size of the volt 2. I'm trying to hold out for the cryo 2 as well.
