Hey guys, not sure if i to post in my old thread or post new, but obviosly i did a new one.. :P

Just wanted to show my new knife a quicky.. Im pretty proud to own this SICK knife actually, maybe im corny, but i really am proud to be a owner of a Curtiss F3.. :)

Well, after some decisions i decided to get with the Curtiss F3 3,5 model. And wow.. Just wow...
Got it yesterday, and this one is getting all my pocket time starting now. Was looking for a Ray Laconico first, but i gave up pretty quick after reading how hard it is to get a hold one of his knives.
So i started looking and found a Curtiss F3, and at first i didnt know what i was, but then i searched on it, and found out it was a cool knife.

Now i dont know how hard it is to get a hold of his knives? It would be fun to know if it is hard to find it. That makes is more fun to carry it, to know that its a pretty rare knife.

I'll upload some images in this beatuy and let them speak for themselves. (Sorry for the quality of the images, i took them in a hurry, and sorry for the first messed up pic..)

Rad looking knife there, my man.

I like the oversized pivot doubling as the over travel stop for the lockbar, clever.

Yeah, looks sick. Everything about it is pretty much perfect for me. So im very happy with it.
Most expensive knife i have before this, is a Paramilitary 2, so it took a big leap up to custom knives.. :P

Hehe i love it to, first second i opened to pouch it was in.. :P
Is it a rare knife? But maybe not as rare as a Laconico? Not that it matters alot, just wants to know. :)

I second this.

Before I got my first custom the most expensive knife I owned was a CRK Umnumzaan and even making that jump was a staggering difference in quality, I can only imagine coming from a PM2

Congrats. Looks awesome with the stonewashed blade and handle and tasteful color accents.

PS - Wish the steel was a little better than the CPM-154.

Thats a cool knife. :) i would love to have the Large Insigno. Looks pretty sick..
But the Large insingo with micarta goes for 700$ here in Sweden , or actually im buying from Finland if i buy it.
Its new though.

First knife i have with the stonewash, and i just love it.
Its a very clean knife, but yet so gorgeous. :)

Best steel ive handled was the Paramillie 2 with the s30v.
And i guess this Bohler n690 is better Than that? Or i hope..

Personally, I think CPM-154 is a fine blade steel, and is an excellent choice for a hard use folder.

What a beauty! Those are some excellent pictures, and sweet choice on the anodizing. A Curtiss F3 is my dream knife right now. Most I've spent on a knife is my CRK Small Sebenza 21 Insingo. I'm ready for a larger higher end knife (some day I'll snag a CRK Zaan, but those are easier to get), and I love everything about the F3. Just can't seem to find one. And I can't decide if I want the 3.5 or the 4".

This knife combines so many features from so many different great knives that it is at the top of my list for "gotta have" knives.

Yeah, i love it. :)
I actually bought it on the secondhand market, so the Guy before me had it anodized. But it was unused. :)
I want a CRK insingo large 21 (micarta inlays), kinda bad.. But if i buy it inside EU i'll have to pay around 720$ shipped.. But that blade shape on the insingo is to die for, O-M-G..
Zaan is pretty cool to :) only held a small sebenza IRL.

From what ive heard the 3,5 is a better EDC knife. But i would love a 4" :D
