Got my dessert tan RC 4 and black Izula today and I absolutely love them! I'm slowly becoming a fixed blade convert. Just wanted to say thanks to everybody for all the info and opinions in all the threads I read while researching which ones to buy. Of course these won't be my last ESEE's.
As soon as I got them today I went straight away into batoning some would to make a fire in my wood stove (it was raining outside) and while sitting in my basement enjoying the fire I whittled the baton I used so I can take it with me when I car camp with my wife. Awesome knives and I look forward to using them some more! Again thanks everybody!

You wont have to go full fixed blade to enjoy ESEE's.

Here pretty soon theres gonna be a ESEE folder (izula folder IIRC)
 
Welcome aboard! I got my first one a couple of months ago well more like 6 months ago. :D Anyway I fell in love with it and nothing has changed. I can't wait to see the izula folder!
 
Welcome to the best dollar for dollar survival knives being made. This is a great club to be in for sure. ESEE RAT Knife owners are some of the greatest people I have ever come across. I consider them all my brothers in blades. KNIFEABILITY-a must for all humans
 
ive only had mine for a short time now as well and it will be hard for me to consider other companies when i am looking to make my next purchase
