Purchased my first ever sebenza 21 from another member here. Ended out going with a large 21 with micarta inlays. This is a big step up since my most expensive is a ZT 0561.

2 questions: I already broke it down an replaced the grease because it was nasty during it I noticed a small V engraved just about the pivot hole. Why does this symbolize?

I also noticed there was an A11 and B10 stamped on the inside. I assume this shows when each piece was made so first quarter of 2011 and second of 2010. Is this correct and is it normal for them to be made that far apart?

Sorry I can't answer any of your question, but congrats on the new Sebenza! I don't have one.. Yet! I'm hoping to buy one sometime this summer.

Congratulations on the new Sebenza, the micarta inlays are my favorite. The V stamp on the blade is to identify the steel which is S35VN. You are correct on the handle stamps. I've got a couple that have different years on them as well. The sebenza will serve you well.

Welcome to the family (Addiction). That is a very nice acquisition, may she serve you well and for many years to come.

The V stands for the blade steel which is S35VN. As for the slabs, I've never seen them that far apart in age but yes it is normal for the them to be apart occasionally.

Take care

Welcome my friend. Look forward to seeing picture of your knife and then all the others you will buy. :-) Did not see the link....very nice.

Congrats on a great pick up. My 1 and only is a 25 and I'm loving every minute with it, I'm sure you'll have just as much fun with yours. The others are correct, soon enough you'll be looking for your next.

Someone help me, I feel like I need another one now and it hasn't even been a day. My budget can't handle it right now either :|

Anyways I can't seem to put this thing down. It needs to be sharpened though.

Send it in for a spa treatment. It will return minty fresh...
