I have been bouncing back and forth about getting one for some time. I placed my name on the list for my 3rd annual Sebenza thinking that would satisfy me until next fall, but I could no longer resist an XM-18, and ordered a 3.5" non-flipper in orange this morning. I am supposed to get it from Hinderer after the knife show!
 
Right on! Are you LE then? I'm having a hell of a time picking one up - that doesn't included the secondary market mark up
 
I am LE. I guess the one benefit is getting an XM-18.

Believe it or not, but I paid at lunch time and already got my shipping info 2 hours later!
 
I am afraid of liking it too much. I sadly keep rotate my few edc's in my gun locker at work and leave my M&P at home every day.

Congrats Law1173, I just got my first gen3 flipper last week (second had market as I am not LEO/Mil/FF). I haven't put it down since! I hope to get another sooner than later, I'd love a 24 if I could find one (and afford it at the time lol). Rick makes some seriously awesome knives!

I finally got it! I am very pleased that Rob was able to get my order out the same day I paid for it. It is a beast of a knife for sure. Not quite as gentlemanly as my inlay Sebenzas but I can see how it is a great work tool. Mine is blade is nicely centered and just a slight drag when opening the blade like it needs to be broken in.

Fits my hand like a glove.

I like it!
 
Congrats on the XM-18. It's the best knife you're gonna find for duty use. Mine gets used daily on duty. One night I forgot it home and was about 2 minutes away from the station. I called in and told the watch commander I was gonna be running late. Turned around and picked it up. Can't be with out it. I'm sure you'll know the feeling soon enough.

I am just your standard issue NYS Peace Officer. I am a Correction Officer. Can't carry it inside the jail, but everywhere else I do!
