Yep, what the title says.
I ordered myself a 9 because I can't not have a 9.
Now I just have to keep myself occupied until it arrives.
Then I'll have to keep myself from chopping down all the trees on my property.
 
If you want you can chop all the trees down on my property.

I just got a bk9 a couple weeks ago and I am really thrilled with it! I can't wait to customize it and give it some good hard use! I hope you enjoy yours and yeah the hype about it really is true: you can't not have a 9, it IS the King.

I actually had a dream the other night that the king showed up at my doorstep, I woke up disappointed.

The anticipation is killing me.
I don't plan on modding it much, but it will definitely get some new handles.
Once I decide on a material to use I'll get started on making some.
It will either be some type of hardwood, or G10.

I'd like to get the scales done before it gets here since I can use my old scales from my 2 as a pattern.
 
Just a note that I think everybody should be aware of: no matter how many BK9s you own you'll always feel the urge to buy another one at some point. And in each case the anticipation is still going to kill you during the wait for it to arrive. I already owned one, I bought a second, the wait on the second one was as unpleasant as the first one and the hopes for delivery a day early kept invading my mind.

But then the government might consider me as a weapon of mass destruction.

If anything, the second could be worse, since you didn't know what you were missing the first time.
 
I was showing my 12 year old daughter how to baton with it a couple of nights ago... So awesome even a kid can appreciate its ginormous sharpness and utility. Splitting maple like slicing bread.....mmm.....BK9. Crap, I really do need two...
 
The wait is the worst. Although I bought my BK10 on Tuesday and it was at my doorstep Thursday morning, and shipping was free!
