Always wanted one of the Russel Green River Knives but was never satisfied with the thin bladed ones I had seen in kit form. I decided to make myself one the other day. It isn't quite traditional using G10 and mosaic pins but the steel is 1084 3/16 thick. I even added the jimping on the one side of the blade. I have never been able to find out if it was decoration or had a purpose. I may have to pick up some leather for a sheath. I think Kydex would be pushing it :)

I never thought that straight lines could look that good on a knife. I like it more than I would have thought. Definitely a leather sheath.

Well the spearpoint one inspired me to put this guy together today. It is one of the "kit" knife blades that I have had in my shop since last summer. I added a simple set of G10 slabs with brass pins. Super simple design but then again trade knives were supposed to be easy:)
