Finally made some scales for my Umnumzaan.

Been saying I'm gonna cut them for months. I finally had a chance to cut them.

Sadly, I did a tool change after cutting the flutes with a 1/8in ball nose to a 1/16in Diamond burr and ran the fluting OP again vs the profile, hole, and pocket OP.

The flutes should have matched the OEM flutes but are flat bottom due to my mistake. You can see the correct cut in the 1st pic and then see the mistake in the following pics.

I'll cut another later.

It's crazy how much lighter the CF is vs the Ti.


I love my Umnumzaan and really love it even more now..

I'm sure if the flat bottom grooves bother you too much, you wouldn't have any issues selling it and making another one with the radiused grooves :)

I like that CF..What version is it and where do you buy it if you don't mind me asking?
