Aloha ALL,

Well, finally got my DIREKT PE user! The one I got from Germany has the serial number "0001", so I did not use that one. However, now that Boker USA has them, I now to get to USE a DIREKT PE! (#0396 BTW...)

Anyway, my DIREKT ME has performed admirably, I just only wish that the SE portion was moved a bit more towards the rear of the blade, and the serrations made bigger. Errrrr....Tobias, any help on this would be good! I DID manage to make a small rust spot on the DIREKT ME blade's coat, right near some of the laser etching...no big deal considering how long this one has not gone without a cleaning, and has been used in rain that has SO2 in it!!! Cripes...

So my new "toy" will be the DIREKT PE...I just LOVE the color the Titanium coating gives these PE blades!!! Plus, it not only looks good, it is extremely durable and a blessing in the tropics!

God bless and more to come...

The last pics makes me think the Storm Trooper could hop right on the Direkt and zoom off like it was a speeder bike, using the thumbstuds as mini handlebars. Instead of having a blaster at the front it just has a big point to impale and slice enemies in half. :)

Howzit bro,

L:DL!!! It does kinda look like that don't it?:p

Hey BTW, going OT...thanks for the MotoGP updates in your sig...so Rossi won in Laguna, eh? How did the two Spaniards do, especially Rossi's team mate, that young dude?

God bless and mahalo bro!

I SERIOUSLY see one of these in my future very soon. Awesome looking pics Amigo :D:thumbup:.

Rossi and Stoner were going at it hammer and tongs for the first half, passing back and forth. Valentino even went into the dirt halfway down the corkscrew to make a move. It was awesome stuff. Then Stoner overcooked it going into the last turn before the start/finish straight, ran into the gravel, and dropped the bike. He kept it running and was able to get going again, lucky on his part that it was a low speed fall, but that killed his chance of winning. The really crazy thing is that Stoner didn't even lose a position when he fell because he and Rossi were smoking everyone else so badly. Part of that came from the Bridgestone tires having a definite edge over the Michelins, but they were definitely the class of the field that day.

Dani Pedrosa didn't race because he had a nasty high speed fall at Sachsenring in the wet the week before and busted up his hand. Slid all the way though a big gravel trap and smacked into one of those air fences. He practiced a few times at Laguna but was way off the pace so he decided to pack it up and get started on treatment for the summer break. Lorenzo, Rossi's teammate, had a wicked highside on the first lap right at the turn before they start going uphill, turn 5 I think. He broke three bones in one of his feet. It was scary because he came down partly on his head and I thought he was going to snap his neck. Poor bugger has had nothing but injuries this year. Even so, I've read they think he can race at Brno in the middle of August.

Looks great Chad, let us know how it holds up!

BTW, how's the flipper on it?

Loved my first CLB knife (Trance black/serrated) so I just ordered my Direkt only minutes ago. Can't wait! You've hooked me, Chad!
