...and it's a big rat!:D I always wanted one of those tough choppers, but it's not that easy to get one over here in Germany. Then one day I discovered this fine Battle Rat on the German MF, just slightly used and I was lost! I just had to get this one!! Just a few days later I had it in my hands and I knew what I spent the money on. It's not a beauty, but who cares!? And next weekend, she's gonna get something to bite...

Ohhhh....but it is a beauty!!! You can now get rid of those other 2 things.....the Battle Rat was my first and is still one of my favorites!!

And she will be even more beautiful when she's all scuffed and dirty!

The BR is a definite winner and mine gets lots of use.
 
Thanks guys! You're right, it is a beauty, my bad. :D I really like the simplicity and the unwillingness to compromise of the design. It has a great handle, good balance and an excellent steel. I don't want to get rid of my BK-9 and my Ka-Bar though. But most people just wouldn't call it a beauty, lamenting about it being just black etc..
I love big blades and I just can't wait to get this one out in the woods and play! And of course, I'm going to take pictures.

The only 'problem' is that I feel like buying more rats...
The Res-C is really nice, feels great in your hand, I wonder why they quit making those.

I promised to post some pics with my BR in action, but unfortunately there wasn't much to chop and split at the meeting from the Messerforum last weekend. My Swamprat felt a little bored. So there are just a few pics, sorry bout that. I will take the Battle Rat out in the woods as soon as I can!

The BR is awesome, I'm trying to pick up it's cousin, the DGCG. Have fun with it!
