I have been very fortunate in getting this directly from Rob,
it was from the 3.5" flipper on sale on this site, and i was one of the lucky guy that grabbed this just in time.:D

Here is the picture with the XM 3" non-flipper that i also scored from Rick and Rob.

Although, its only .5" less than the 3.5" the overall size is actually much difference. Making this a totally different knife in usage and application.

I am very fond of the stone washed blade, of course, i much preferred the custom grind, however, as a USER and EDC, it doesn't get better than this!!

My overall impression of this knife is no different than anyone who has handled this knife.. it is a Beast!!! I am not really good at flipping the XM but i do enjoy the flipper as it act as a finger guard, which i believe is one of the main attraction of this knife. The lock up is tight and early.

After playing with it, it got more smooth and with a little lube, it feels like million bucks. The more i carry it, the more i love this knife. It's a production knife with custom built qualities.

Again, i want to thank Rick and Rob for this terrific knife. Although i have left the States for couple years now. Hopefully, i will have a chance to meet Rick and Rob face to face and thank them in person at shows and gatherings.

Nice I dream to score an XM-18 3.5" flipper someday. Of course I'll have to start saving, my impatience is horrible, I always buy whats available.

I like the pictures a lot. I was considering a cybershot also, but I ended up going with a powershot from canon. my pictures don't seem to come out as well, though

my powershot seems to do best on automatic, adding macro for close-ups like lock mechanisms (despite it's gazillion settings) with a light background. :) sorry for the off topic :o

I used a cybershot TX-7.
The picture came out actually better than i expected. I am not smart enough to use my wife's DSLR
