I've been waiting for an AR and GB for quite some time now, but I fully understand the waits involved since the Striderguys are supplying blades to our troops, and also because of the run of bad luck they've had recently regarding problems with the laser cutting of blanks. Yes, I understand entirely. But this understanding hasn't satiated my appetite for an AR, so I put the word out and scored one rapidly from a fellow Suspect. It arrived today, brand new and utterly flawless.
#79 lacks the Tigerstripes that I covet, BUT that's okay because she's perfect in every other regard. Lock-up is awesome, fit/finish is perfect, and she's insanely sharp. Here's a few pix that I just snapped;

So instantly I have another addition to my daily carries. The AR joins my 98 Commander #28, Ryan Biohazard M1, and 2000 CQC6. Good company for all involved. :D

If you're like me and just can't wait for the Strider folder that you have on order, then put the word out and you'll eventually locate one. They're out there. And they're absolutely worthy. No doubt. :)

Very nice Eric !. Nice little gathering you have there, will have to post some of mine also.

When you get your flat ground one, would you please post some pics of it!(assuming that the AR you have on order will be a flat ground one)

Jeff

Hey tat, it was great talking to you this past weekend! Please post some pix of your AR and GB, buddy. :)

Jeff, I'm hoping that once my GB arrives it's a hollow ground, but I'll post pix of it either way as soon as it arrives.

Hey Eric!

You probably don't know me from Adam, but I fully understand your appreciation of your new AR. Further, I appreciate your understanding of the time it takes to produce one. I don't need to give you a sales pitch, but rest assured that your AR will never let you down. The character, strength, and intestinal fortitude of the maker has indeed gone into the knife. Anyhoo, just wanted to throw my two cents in. Go cut some stuff!

Hiya Ranger Owens!

It's always good to hear the confidence of fellow Strider owners! :)

I just went out to feed the horses, and the AR's first cutting chore was slicing open 16 bags of feed. Like butter.

Now I want to cut a car in half. Hmmmm,...I don't like my neighbors very much, and they've got a nice new Lexus over there.....

Congrats, Eric, that is one nice folder. Seeing its new buddies, all I can say is hope you have band-aids on tap.

Ranger Owens,
I was asking around and I think I found a guy looking for a roomate, but he is a Marine reservist. I don't know if I want to start that Army vs. Marine thing :D

Drop me a line, and I will see what I can do.

Take care guys.

Hey Reed!

Thanks for tracking on that, but I think you may have misunderstood me. I'll only be in town for a couple of weeks, while I'm at Nellis TDY. In fact, there's no guarantee that I'll be able to escape the base in order to snuggle with someone, but I'll find out more as I go. My game plan is to find a place cheap or free, so I can pocket the money they'll pay me for a hotel. I'm a tight-a$$, but how else can I afford so many wonderful cutting-things?
