Very nice

If love to have one of their AFA, but I don't have the $ :(

I can't believe it took so long to get it though.

That's gorgeous.
Do they make 'em half that size too? :-)

For a while there I did get a tad bit impatient, but the wait was worth it.

On there website there have the Small Northlander Hatchet with an overall length of thirteen inches (13").

Overall on this particular axe, I am very pleased. I'm sure you will to if you're willing to wait.

Oooh, I'll go look.
I think you should use that picture as your avatar and change your name to 'The Headless Norseman'.

That is a nice looking axe.
Amazing success after the internet world viewed their axe making video. It's a shame that the man who's name is on the axe isn't with the company anymore- can't take his "Brand" name back.
I went to their website and saw there are several smiths working there. I like the way GB has the auctual smiths initials stamped in the head.
Maybe its just me or my wallet lol.. I don't think I would pay that kind of money for an axe. Besides , if I fell in love with it- I would need to buy spares in case something ever happened to it. At least one more as a back up.

Love the Neeman. Too rich for my blood, but it's definitely on the bucket list. I have a Wetterlings small axe and a Gerber that I'd love to not have anymore. A GB Hunter is high on my 'buy very soon' list.

I spend *way* too much time at the Neeman website, though...

My Wett in action:

Very nice! I want to see a chop off between the Council and the Northlander. I bet you will be suprised. I was, when I tested my Northlander Felling and old Plumb. That would be a good post.

Hmmm, a face off of axes! Now you've got me wondering with great wonderment!
