Ok, it still has some handrubbing that needs to be done, and I need to mark it, but its already sold. Overall length is only 5.25" with cutting edge of about 2.25". Blade steel is O1. Handle slabs are some really gorgeous redwood burl(wish I had more of that stuff, it smells great). Its a little knife, but feels really good no matter how I hold it. Its also sharp as s##t.

No, the wood was not stabilized. This wood was pretty old, so hopefully, most of the moving and shrinking has happened already. But, I will give it a good long soak in Thompson's Water Seal after I get it sanded to the final grit.

Nice job, Looks like it would be real comfortable and good in tight places. Beautiful wood.:)

Very cool Danbo!

I like the shape of the handle. It looks like you could get a secure grip with it.

That is a very cool little knife, Danbo! I really like everything about it. The handle shape is unusual, yet looks very ergonomic and comfortable. And the blade shape is great. Hard to give the effect of a clip point on a blade that short.

I really think that you might find a market for those if you were to reproduce them. But, since you're just getting started, imagine you want to try a variety of styles, sizes, shapes.

If you ever do get to the point where you might make some more of them, give us a holler, ey?

Great knife! That looks like a comfortable, palm-filling handle, and all that belly ought to cut like crazy. Nice one, thanks for sharing.
