Finally ordered a Busse

Doing my part to stimulate the economy, I decided to spend my half of our $600 tax rebate on a new Steel Heart. My order confirmation says to expect delivery in 3-6 weeks. Is this in the ball park, or should I expect to wait a little bit longer?

The reason I say this is you will be kicking yourself when you get the SH for not ordering one sooner.

Don't want to rush a self-butt-kicking.... :D

But seriously, you will love it when it gets to you.
 
Woo-hoo! Great first choice man! The Steel Heart is one hell of a knife. The anticipation will just make you enjoy it more.

I really don't know how long it will take to get to you, but I DO know you will really treasure it once you have it.

Just keep an eye out for that brown truck of joy!

I have to agree with thatmguy and Antdog, that is an excellent choice for your first Busse. You may end up waiting a bit longer than the 3-6 weeks but it is well worth the extra time.
Let us know what your impressions are when you receive it. Now you can start planning your next Busse purchase ;):D:D

Yep, expect to wait longer then the 3-6 weeks, I paid my ZT set 08/13/01 and Teri said it would take 6-8 weeks but it has been well over 11 weeks right now and haven't received an email letting me know it will take longer etc. and I'm wondering if I'll see them before Christmas.

What I can't understand is that there are new models made, promoted and sold while the already paid for knives take much longer then reported to get made and delivered.
I have no doubt that Jerry will deliver I only get withdrawel symptoms ;)
