Good choices, and nice set-up man.

How have they performed for ya??

What kind of rig are you thinking about for the BWM??

Nice collection. Mine is very similar. I have the BWM in pumpkin. Then I have a BATAC for a mid-lg blade. Lastly I have my Grex Active duty for my small blade. Well, maybe not that similar but we both gut three busse family knives

thanks everyone!
I'm very proud of this set.

I'm thinking of getting a rig like this for the BWM:

except with a dangler since it's so long.

They have been performing very well for me, I've kept the factory edge on the BWM, but am trying to slowly work it to full convex, I've been able to split seasoned and frozen logs with it no problem, and with nil damage to the edge, it's still slicing paper.

I played around with the edge on the HG, I tried a standard V grind, and have since moved it to convex, I use it for heavy slicing duties, and some whittling; the edge is a little thick for stuff like feather sticks, but that's the only thing it's not doing well on.

The HC is a V grind, but I shallowed the angle on the edge a lot, it's about 12.5 degrees per side. This will do the feather sticks, I lug the HC with me everywhere. This is my "pocket knife".

The ginunting sword, is a full height convex, it almost looks zero ground. very subtle curvature. I;ve used it to clear brush and chop some trees down, but it's been tuned as a weapon more than a tool. I use it to practice kali from time to time, it's just way more fun than a stick :) I'll cover the edge with electric tape when I'm practicing a new movement I'm not "comfortable" with yet. I've done sent myself to the ER already once being careless.

but yeeesss!!! I am a Busse addict now. I look forward to be able to get more and post more pics for you all... I need to learn how to be a better photographer though :)

Hey Jack, how has the edge retention been on the HC?

BTW... great looking collection you have there... run now! Before it's too late!!!

HG55 is it called? That is one I really think I missed out on and would have loved. Great collection:)

thanks :)

The edge retention on the HC has been good, I used it a lot for general tasks, and haven't noticed any weirdness with it. As far as I can tell it's been keeping an edge better than my xm-18 which is s30v, and much better than any of the old benchmade knives that were 154cm. So all in all I'm very happy with it.

I haven't done any real extreme use on the blade though, like batoning it though wood or cutting really hard plastics. So under those circumstances, I don;t know how the edge on the HC would hold up.
