Well,I finally got one. It's not an aurora or a CCK,like I was eying for so long. It's not fancy. It's not A2 either.
Basically was searching for a 4" non-stainless blade,Bark River for under $100 & I got this one for under $90 ;)

Here it is...

I'm glad you stated that it is your first Barkie, because it surely won't be your last. That Nessie is sweet:thumbup:

Thanks guys,
Eventually I'd like the get the Canadian Camp knife & a piggyback sheath for the two of them. That way I could have my camp knife & cleaning,skinning...etc knife in one package.

Very nice and congrats on your "first" Barkie. Every time Ive gotten a BRK&T I have never been disapointed. Enjoy, M

Congratulations JT! As Iuke12 said, it most certainly won;t be your last (you'll have an Aurora in-hand before too long)

That's a super-nice knife. The Nessie's are similar in shape to the BRKT Canadians and Grohmann's. I think you're right that it would go good with the Camp knife. Here's a picture of the Canadian Camp:

I only have one blade in 52-100, a Spydie Mule, but I love it, takes a SWEEEEEET edge easily. I really hope to sample some Mike Stewart 52-100 one of these days though.

Enjoy the blade JTR

I really need one of those Canadian Camps :D

Just got today:D:thumbup:

It feels great in my hand;)
Extremely Sharp out of the box!
I'm going out to do some gardening & light yard work with it.

Here's a couple of pics...my camera battery just died will take more later.

Best $97 I ever spent :D

Congrats, JTR!

Once you go Bark, you'll never go Back. :D

Thanks Brian:)

I'm just starting to realise that;)

only problem is...there are soo many great models to choose from.I fear they may put me in the poor house :D

This one wasn't the sharpest out of the box,but about 10min. on my sharpmaker & it's shaving sharp:thumbup:

P.S. Are all their sheaths made in Serbia?

What a great looking knife! A Barkie at that price was a bargain... Congrats you lucky dawg!

My next knife is going to be a Canadian Camp as well.

Looks good, I have the same sheath with my Barkie Wolf River. Enjoy the knife.

The Sheath was made in Serbia.

I believe that model was made a couple of years ago.

I think all of the Bark River knives now come with the sharpshooter American made sheaths.
