Yep, I stopped agonizing over all the possible choices for EDC, and realized that no matter what I choose, I'm getting a great knife!

I put in an order for a small Classic last night; I expect to get it around the middle of this week. (Roll Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, "The waaaaaaiiting, is the hardest part" :))

Thanks to everyone who gave great advice. I'll post my impression when I get it, and I just hope I made the right choice getting the classic over the regular!

Ya did good pilgrim!

Of the two, if I had to pick one and leave the other, I'd take the Classic, a more pronounced guard and a slimmer point as well.

Both are nice, don't get me wrong, but if choices had to be made, that's the route I'd have taken as well...;)

I think you'll like the classic, I got them all but there is still something special about the classics..

They are very nice in person. I don't think that you will be dissapointed. But you will want others. This is just the begining. The wood inlay is the best IMHO. Gary, that one you got is stunning!:D
 
Starfish, I just received my first today...a small unique graphic. I am sure you will like yours. I had not handled any Sebenza prior to today and it was much slimmer and less bulky than I imagined. I think after hearing how "solid" they are I assumed they would be overly thick, but I was wrong. Mine is very smooth, perfect EDC size for me, very comfortable even with a tight grip and it has a solid lock up. I hope you get yours tomorrow. Let us know what you think.

UPS web site says it has been out for delivery since 5:08 this MORNING!

Anybody want to share some of the special things they do with their Sebbie when it arrives? Got something that you use to gauge sharpness? Check for blade play :D (right!)? Put it on the altar and sacrifice a virgin?

I am sooooo glad that the Reeves did not warn me of my incoming custom small unique... I would have died with anticipation.... I did however have to find my small plain sebenza before I could open the box.... I seem to have picked up the "quirk" of using my sebenza to open my new knives with though I have plenty to choose from.... even if I have something else right there :D May you enjoy it as much as I do mine....
