Been looking to replace my Kershaw Vapor for awhile now. Tried an SOG Twitch II but it was just too small for my wants. (I got a nice 'dress' knife out of it though.;)) Picked up a Benchmade Picka about a half-hour ago. I'm gonna have to get a set of star-wrenches to move the clip (I'm left handed and like tip-up) but I think I've found my "other" edc. It's my first "good" knife in 9Cr13CoMoV...maybe my first ever so I'll see how it holds up to the Kershaw's AUS6 (or8???)

Looked at the spider Endura also in ATS-55...I'll likely pick that one or the Cara Cara up with my next paycheck!

Pretty pointless post...but I'm excited.

I was thinking about getting the pika, liked the clip and price of it along with the blade. Wasn't the greatest feeling knife though. Still seems like a good value and knife. Congrats!

I would agree...but it fights my requirements of handle material, handle thickness, clip options, one-hand opening and PRICE. So I thought I'd give it a try. After the disappointment in the twitch I was pretty excited. That steel sharpens/grinds as easy as the AUS6/8 on my Kershaw so I'm not holding high hopes for it.

I might try it out one day, who knows. I like benchmades, though they are either too much for me or I don't like the lock. Well I should clarify. I really like axis locks, though the legality in NJ or NY doesn't seem all that clear.

Congrats on finding a new EDC. That's always a good thing to post about:thumbup:
