Finally! Silver Knights folder!

Well I passed by the crew formerly known as Triple Aught Design (now just tadgear.com), and to my surprise I found that they had the new Steev Ryan Collaboration Knights folders.. as most of you well know they are made and distributed ONLY in Japan. I guess it was only a matter of time till TAD got in on the deal - if they can't do it noone can! Check it out.. it aint a custom but it feels much more than a production.

What do they feel like? Balance, pivot action, lockup? You know the usual drill

well as you guys may or may not know I have gotten into big knives lately you know the tiny blackwood folder et al.. I must say that the second gen (the first gen being the 2001 run) felt a bit gritty this new incarnation is smoother and locks up better, the balance feels good and the knife overall has a nice heft and prescence in your hand. The second gen also has a very faint faint secondary bevel which makes it razor sharp

Inb the hand it feels great - i am still thiking of ways to attatch a pocket clip to it so i can seehow it feels in the pocket. It's no custom but it sure raises the bar on production.

Very nice. I don't like the serrations, but I really like everything else about the knife.

SB- does this ease the pain of not bein' at Blade? A little? Duck tape might work for attaching that clip.

Rosvall, it still friggin stings.. I plan to book my tickets to blade 2003 tomorrow night (duct tape.. weight ahead of you.. I have it duct taped to my leg now

K - the serrations really do take some gettign used to but in the spirits of these "obxiously loud" knives' bravado it just makes it more evil!!
