After my trip to New York I relaxed a bit too much and I have had a hard time getting my inspiration back since...
This had a bad affect to my general mood but things are starting to look up at the moment anyway :)

Well, here is a knife I have had planned for a long time.
It has a very special blade forged by Göran Enocksson, a big piece of forged Damasteel.
The blade is about 10 inches long and 8-9 mm at its thickest.

I used stabilized cederburl and mammoth ivory for the handle, the end piece is Damasteel.

The sheath is wet shaped and has a Damasteel detail and double stiching.

Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated!

Knife and sheath come together for a very impressive overall package. Nice work.

Lovely knife. The wood just blow me away.

I would use a lighter filework on the spine though.

I also love your sheaths.

You have a very distinct style. I really like your pieces and you are one heck of a sheathmaker too.

You rock Magnus :) :thumbup::cool:

Haven't forgotten about the collaboration-ish project, just haven't gotten to it yet.

Will love to see it happen though!!! :)

I can pick one of your knives out from a mile away. You definitely have a very recognizable style. Don't ususally care for filework, but this knife would not be as nice without it. As always, your sheath is also fantastic.

Your craftsmanship is very impressive and the sheaths you make are even more exceptional.

Thanks for posting it.

Peter

Thank you all very much for your comments. It is especially appreciated at a time like this, when inspiration needs a little kick in the pants!
