This is probably the wrong place for this thread, as there may be a thread in another part of this forum dedicated to sharpening and stropping but I am posting here anyways lol.
Stropped my spyderco endura 4 on split top leather, with 45 micron poly crystalline spray. 5-10 passes per side. This is coming off of pretty much factory sharpness. Very sharp with good bite. I was very happy, I am not particularly fond of mirror polish to the point of no tooth, or bite.
I repeated the process with my spyderco southard, and also a kershaw skyline and also a zt200. All to varying degrees of sharp, yet a good utility biting edge.
45 micron is pretty course, that is why I went with light almost non-existent pressure, and few number of strokes. Waiting for my stropman big boy to come in
.
If anyone has any similar or completely different methods for obtaining a good toothy edge, or just feel the need to correct my current set up, please do. One never truly stops learning.
