Glad to be back after a brief vacation. Glad to report that Mrs. Odysseus was very generous and gave me a Commander for Christmas. Woo-hoo! My first Emerson (if you don't count my Benchmade CQC7). I also used my bonus check to treat myself to a mini Commander. Can't wait for that to come in. A great start to my Emerson collection. Next stop (crossing my fingers): CQC6!
 
This Commander is absolutely the finest edged weapon I've been priveledged to own. Beautiful and deadly. The pictures do not do it justice. It came razor sharp (BTW, the legend of the crushed box lives on). I can't imagine what improvements Mr. Emerson might have in store. Can't wait to get the mini.
