We have a winner. SunnyD has been chosen. Congrats Anthony. While I was on the road recently, She Who Must Be Obeyed purchased an Ulster Scout knife that I had been ogling. Since I've been home I've carried it constantly and have fallen in love with it. The fact that I like it so much makes it the perfect one to give away.
It is well used but in very good shape. The previous owner must have used it whilst painting or perhaps staining because there are some remnant stains on the blades. Nothing that will keep it from being a fantastic user though. I'll keep this up here for 1 week. In a week I will call SWMBO and ask her for a number between 1 and whatever we get to. That will be my random number generator.
Your first post will be your number. Anyone with 25 posts or more in this forum will be eligible to win.
Good luck folks, whoever wins will be getting a great little scout knife.

Thank you, Mack for the goodwill toward the forum and its members!
(This is not an entry but wanted to say thank you for your contributions.)

Hey, thanks for the opportunity. Tell ya' what. If I win, let's skip the knife and you take me fishing in that lake in the background!

Thanks for the chance looks just like the one i lost exept mine had blue scales thanks again.

Cool! We just went on a campout with a Scout Troop in the Cal. Redwoods, and while there were many pocket knives present, there was only one traditional Scout type. Oh well. This type is my favorite utility pattern.

Thanks for the chance!

wow, nice knife
makes one proud to own it, looks awesome! reminds me of the '78 camillus soldier my Grampa gave when I was 4, 21 years ago
also looks like my soldier SAK, companion of many many adventures

cheers

Wow, thanks for you generosity. I don't have any knife with bail yet. That would make excellent user and EDC.

Mack, you are just one in a long line of people on this forum who just keep this amazing thing called humanity/ good will/ neighborly/ etc. alive. Thank you for this chance, I myself will be posting something in the next few weeks as well. Thanks again.
Be safe.

Count me in. Scout knives are always cool. Especially the U.S. made ones. My nephews are in Cub Scouts and they were issued those alox handled Victorinox scout knives. Nothing wrong with that, but it's just not the same.

40 years ago I had one with blue scales.

I wonder where the heck that went to...

A traditional scoutknife is one of my small dreams. Noone I know of do one at the moment in the ordinary size and Im very happy to get this chance to be given one.
