:DI got a package in today and was pleasantly surprised by my FIRST BUSSE'S! A tan on tan Steel Heart, a tan on tan mini-17, and a Nuclear Ice Pick with a kydex sheath. All at once! It's almost too much to take in! AWESOME KNIVES! I'm already hooked! The next knife I'm going to shoot for is definitely going to be the Persian Fighter. That's a short second behind my Elinore (a Vietnam carried model 2-7 or 2-8 Randall). My new Busse's are right up there with my Chris Reeve's which WERE my favorite, but now share their spot with the INFI. I'll get pictures up tomorrow hopefully:D

Your first purchase and you got three hooves in the trough at once? Very porcine. :)

Already starting your training for Blade '07? ;)

Thanks, it definitely is! I'd never be able to afford all that at one time, but fortunately I was contacted for a trade on a great custom that I had posted a while ago and started from there. I'm stoked, never gotten that heavy a box before. I take that back, I have......but it was books.

I've never been to Blade. I actually don't even know the details (when/where). I'd love to head over there if I get the chance. Hopefully in the next few years (pretty busy with a heavy school load and 50 hour work weeks). I can see it now.......I'D BE HAPPIER 'N' A PIG IN SLOP!!!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Busse! Great start- FSH to NIP- nice range to cover in one very fell swoop! (C'mon, how often do you get to say "fell swoop"?)

Haha, I don't know whether or not my induction into the club of Busse enthusiasts is a good thing or bad. I've already got the Jimmys........I've got the urge for another INFI fix already.

PS: You never get to say: "Fell swoop" do you? Well, without getting funny looks that is ;)

Nice start man...

Better watch out for Chuck...

He's building an empire of the Double Tan Clan.....;)

Haha, thanks for the advice. I don't think I'll be letting these go. Might use the NIP as leverage to buy a ST-56 though. I'm looking for one of those, a Mud Razor, and a Hell Razor in that order. Might take a while!

I want pic's...post'em! congrats on those new scores and welcome to the madness of "INFI" remember there's no return to the normal knife world !:D

welcome to the INFI addiction....I started with infi, then went to SR101, but, alas..I too, have seen the light.......(after I get this SAR) of coarse. and it will be infi for me from now on. except for a couple of more rats:D oh, who the hell am i kidding, I love em both, i will buy both and now i know i am rambling....so late. John

Sorry for the delay......but I'm an incredible procrastinator:

I know a lot of you guys like BIG knives, so here's my favorite (I know it's not a Busse, but I couldn't resist):

Thanks guys!

Jason: The bowie you're asking about is a Marz (Marzitelli) he currently makes very nice folders (or so I've read). I don't know what kind of custom work he still does but I must say: I've had a few very nice customs and seen quite a few but none were as nicely finished as this one. Nor did they have such an amazing sheath. The stag handle is huge, and the satin finish on the ATS-34 blade is very clean. I love the clean cut of the swedge too. That's probably my alltime favorite knife. Simple, and extremely well made. I love Bowies!

Btw: the blade is about 8.5-.75 inches long. The classic size (or so it seems).
