Finally used my B11

Hey ya porkers!

Haven't been around lately... life can get busy! :-/
Seems like LOTs has been going on around here while I was gone... some sweet blades too!!

Anyway, finally broke out the Asym B11... what a BEAUT!!! Impressive to say the least!

I'm sure you've all heard about the pretty heavy snow storm we had up here in New England.
Looked pretty cool with everything covered in snow...

But it it sure did wreak some havoc!!
All night you could hear huge branches and whole trees snap!
Oaks got it the worst as they hadn't lost their leaves yet.

Had a young oak tree and quite a few big branches fall in our front yard...
So I thought it was the perfect job for the asym B11.
All the pics are after I cleaned her up... Tanker gray held up nicely!

What a joy to use... cut thru this fresh oak like butta!!!

Now I need a sheath for her!!

I enjoyed it - we had mid 50s here and NO SNOW!! ........(yet)

But great pics and some pretty looking snow - And the B11 is excellent isn't it!!
 
At first I was just going to use her to delimb the branch, but she was so light and effective
I chopped down some of the thicker stuff as well.

And you be lucky Bacon Burner... we lost power for 4 days! :-/

Just got a new one one a few days ago. Already used. :D Used it again today for the fire thats burning in front of me right now. Gotta love it.

Been good... but busier that I know what to do with.
I'm trying to be better... been lurking a bit to get caught up. ;)

Awesome shots man. The B11 is one of the best users I have. So fast for a large knife and it chops like a demon!!! Thanks for sharing :)

Outstanding to see you back! Just got back from a short trip up to Colorado, and they have LOTS of snow! Good to see you still hopping and chopping up there in New England!

Thanks Robin... it is great to be back! :) Things are definitely keepin' me hoppin' up here!
And I'm looking forward to my trip to CO over Christmas... should be a great time... and sure to be a winter wonder land! :D

Hi Foo, don't know who you are but apparently you frequented here before I got in on the fun
I haven't had a chance to properly use my B11 yet, so your pics are inspiring. All I've done so far is split a chicken in half... two chops is all it took and I was holding back! I can't wait to bring that B11 onto some wood!
