Finally went for the Gold.

If your referring to posting pictures without Photobucket it means as a Gold Member you can post direct from your computer. I don't know how to do it that way myself, I still must suffer the maladies of photobucket.
I've played with other picture sites but have so many invested in Photobucket I'd really like them to quit improving and make it work like it used to in the early days.

If your referring to the lets see some, well BB has one of the most extensive HI collections bar none. Some very rare and unusual pieces. Right up there with Ndog and some of the other big collector / users.
Gehazi has/had a large pile of good stuff too but he hasn't been around in quite a long spell.
 
I always take photos on my phone and just post directly from my phone... I tried photo bucket once - then deleted my account...
 
Posting from photobucket is very easy for me WHEN photobucket actually works.

Lately they keep changing things, "so called improvements" and it gets worse. It could just be me, I'm not very computer savvy. Even my phone aggravates me some.

We must be related or it's because of Swedish wives. :)
 
Photobucket allows for bigger photos (I think) than just using the BF image download - which results in thumbnails that we then need to click to enlarge. PB is direct big pictcha. :thumbup: I'm pretty sure there may be better photo management options than either PB or the BF allows but I haven't been pushed to look for another. May be a factor that I do all my posting from a MacBook Pro laptop - no smart phone or tablets.

I prefer ditching all the advertising and pay a small price for webspace through a service provider and manage my own photos. I own my own domain so screw all them advertisers. Problem with that is if I ever decide to change service providers then every picture I ever posted on the forum will be gone until I update the links in the posts. No way id do all of them but if I did a "How to" or something like that then id do it.
I miss Gehazi too. I got a feeling he will be back someday in some capacity.
 
He says he will at some time. I think he stays away for temptation sakes. I also sense there was some bad blood somewhere along the line. He said he quit when his gold membership expired which seems odd as it's not necessary. Who knows, I'd like to see him back as well. Great guy, I still speak with him on occasion.
 
I'm just glad he's a live and doing fine. He was in a pretty bad car wreck right before he departed and I was afraid maybe it was worse than he led on.

All good. We'll be here when he's ready. I totally understand the temptation thing. I know a couple guys who were members long ago and they just had to quit cold turkey. Trying to get one to come back, good guy, lots of good info in his head, both on knives and guns too.
