Just got confirmation from Bridget yesterday, my 2000 wood inlay is finally ready to ship today. This knife was ordered almost 16 months ago and due to problems obtaining the Raindrop damascus it has been a long and torturous wait

It should be a beauty though, bronzed Raindrop coupled with Desert Ironwood inlays. The wood inlay had better be at least half as good as you guys say they are or I will be p*ssed

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus

That's "Yes Bridget, there is a Santa Clause." (Virginia had nothing to do with this one.)

It is true that they have had some problems with this latest batch of Damascus. Contrast hasn't been as good as they would like so it is taking some extra work to get them right.

I think you'll be happy with the results.

When you get your wood inlay you will be one happy camper! If you don't think that it is at least twice as good as we say it is, I'll eat my hat. I have a small left hand curly maple and I must say that you have to hold it, open it and inspect it to truly appreciate the work that goes into these knives. I really, really, really, really, really, really like my wood inlay. It is an incredible knife! Be sure to post a picture of your baby when you get it!
