Well we had a great weekend in the swamp... I finished pruning and trimming my vineyard and got to ride my Harley... Now it's back to work and time to catch up....
Anyone do anything exciting this weekend?

Yes went to camp for our turkey opener. No luck but did chase 2 toms around for a few hours. Never could get them to come in.

a Harley you say......did it make it to the end of your drive before needing maintenance ... :D :D :D Tell me now you don't drive a "jeep" ??? ;)

I just had a three day weekend that was mostly about finishing the wiring and maintenance on my off road trailer. I swapped out the hubs/tyres and rims so it would match my truck and then did some spot surface rust cleanup under it. I have almost convinced myself I am going to do a spring over axle conversion on it but need to take some measurements and se how much of an addition pain in the arse loading my dirt bike will be if I do.

Of course it made it to the end... Everytime…. No I don't own a Jeep... A lot of other vehicles but no Jeep.

I own an old Jeep TJ Wrangler. 1997 model. Most reliable vehicle I've had. Not much to look at, and not luxurious at all. But it has always worked. ;)

As for the weekend.... it was all about pruning trees, and getting the yard under control. My wife has pulled about 300 lbs of chickweed out of our plant beds and flower beds. Too bad we didn't have anyplace to store it. Apparently the stuff is quite healthy to eat. Tastes ok. I tried some. Tastes like corn-silks.

I once had the pleasure of restoring a willys jeep it was an amazing expierance it went from rust bucket sitting in the woods to a fully functional road worthy classic.

I use to sell Harleys waaaay back when..... :D

And Jeeps, well as most know I have always made allowances for the "quaint Jeep folk" .... ;) :D :D
