I have been wanting to try a 705 pony for a while so I set a saved search on Ebay.
Boy are these a common popular model, I've gotten alerts just about every week and lately a couple a week for new listings

They're not hard to get ahold of by any means, I just kind of lost interest for a bit.

Today I decided to have a look and was able to score a basically mint example for $35 shipped.

The seller says it's new, never used carried or sharpened.
Based on the pictures I believe them, there isn't one pictured or listed in the pictures but for a user I don't really care if I get the box.

This is the 2nd time you've come up with something I'm unfamiliar with. ( cue the "guy coming out from under the rock" gif, ...that was funny. I deserve it. I don't care.) :p

You can carry that with your smidgen.

If you want, I can send you all those little bitty band-aids they always put in the box. I never use 'em.
Let me know.

Just kidding......:p
Maybe.

Good find! I acquired one about a month ago. The 705 is small, but well-made, snappy and sharp as the dickens. Dandy little knife.

I love my 305 so much, that a 705 was something I new I'd have to get.
I don't know how they compare in width and thickness but I know the length and such is the same.

I think I'm also gonna have to get me a 709, they look so much better than the 309.
Maybe it's just my particular 2010 example, but I find the blades on the 309 a bit ugly.
The clip is too steep on the main blade, and the spine of the pen has an ugly dip in it.

Wow that was fast.
My 705 left Bozeman Montana on Saturday and is already at the local distribution center on track for delivery tomorrow.

If I'm not mistaken this knife would have 425m blades ?
I'm excited to try it out, though I probably will not notice a difference.
