Finally got a knife together! The blade was forged from Planet Jr cultivating tine that was given to me by a friend. I'm assumming its 1075/80. All the fittings are wagon wheel wrought iron and the handle is sambar stag. The blade is 4 1/2" and just over 9" overall.

I'll bet that made you quite happy, Ray! Sorta like the healing process has begun in earnest!

I'm happy for you! :)

Ray, the downtime obviously didn't hinder your skills a lick. That beauty is immediately recognizable as one of yours. Thanks for posting the eye candy. :)

Very nice! Your style is still one of my favorites, and I'm glad that it didn't change. Congratulations!

Todd

Welcome back to the fold! Man, I wish I was making stuff again so I'll just enjoy it by proxy. :D That sure has the look, you haven't lost the touch at all. How's that new grinder?

Dave, I'm getting used to the grinder. I found out with this knife how much I had forgotten. There's a number of things that were automatic that aren't anymore. Just need to re-teach myself.

That’s a great looking knife!!! I really like the fittings.

Noob question: How did you attach the bolster?

Thanks,

Sweet! Yet it's a Ray knife, you can tell buy the form.

I bet it was a rush when you got it finished.

Well Ray, the down time hasn't hurt you one bit..... So glad to see you back up and running.

Keep sharing those projects with us.

Robert

Ray,Glad to hear things are going good for ya'.
Man that is one sweet little knife. The thing I really like most about your knives are the fittings.
Among other things, one thing I really like is rustic, and I hope ya' don't mind me saying that. :D

That's great!!!
(Sorry, I've been a bit behind on the computer lately.)
That is wondeful news Ray. You may not be running full bore but, your running. I'm really happy things are coming back together and don't worry all those little automatic things will come kicking back into gear before you know it. Of course, it might take awhile...you are a little old....:p
Keep 'em coming, that's a beauty.
