After trying to get a used Sebenza I bit the bullet and went to my local knife store and bought a large, classic S30V, Sebenza. The fit and lockup are....blah, blah, blah. Just suffice it to say sweet as all getout! I got the plain model because I knew titanium would never, ever look rundown. I did say never did'nt I? Along with my Mountaineer II I'm a pretty happy camper. I noticed all kinds of different knives for sale in the various locations but not too many Sebenzas. There has got to be a good reason for that! Thanks for listening.

You just know a large in BG-42 will show up for sale on the exchange soon! Glad to hear you like the knife, enjoy.

nice choice. & congrats. I agree -the plain titanium handle is sweet !

Thanks to everyone for your support. As far as the search for the ever elusive BG 42, classic, large, you-know-what-goes......the oxen are slow, but the earth is patient.

Just went and checked my folding knife drawer and guess what I found:

A Classic MM Sebenza with a polished BG-42 blade. I can't say I am all that crazy about the Sebenza but I really like the Green Berets, and Neil Roberts (2 of each) that I have.

What's the big deal about the BG-42? I know it's good steel but I did not know that it might be in some kind of demand.
