I got my 20 year letter from the Army Reserves! I can now start the paperwork to retire. It's been a long bumpy road. I've been all over the world, including 3 combat zones, met my (now ex) wife, was blessed with a daughter that's grown up now. I met a lot of people, and made friends with a few.
It's going to be an interesting change, but it's time to let the young men and women take over, I'm getting to old to keep up with them anymore.

Congratulations, Bill.

My best wishes for a great future.

Congratulations Bill!  :D You've sure as hell earned a rest, are you gonna do like Sarge and take a year and a day off before you decide what to do next?
Somehow that really captures my imagination and I know I, for one among many, was glad that Sarge decided to share so much of his year and a day with us. I hope you see fit to do so as well only thing is I hope you stick around long after your year and a day is over!!!!  :D

Yvsa,
I can't afford to take that much time off. As much as I would like to. I restart my civilian job next week. Heck in only 13 years, I can retire from there as well.

Congratulations, and thank you for your service Bill. God bless your retirement.

Congrats, and, as the others have said, thanks for your service. Now the fun begins!

thx - cpr
