My BK09 has finally arrived today and I could not be happier. I fully expected to have just the 9 and to my surprise the 13 reared its shiny chinese head. It must be recent that they stopped including it cuz it had a 2010 kabar catalog in tue box so I doubt its that old of a box. I expected the sheath to be flimsier than it is so I'm pleasantly surprised there. I have never felt a sharper factory edge in my life, pics to follow I want my number!!!

I have recently found the BK13 (remora) to be a very useful tool..

Now go cut a tree down:eek: make fuzz sticks, or what ever that knife is awesome..
 
YES, EVERYONE LOVES 9 INCHES!!!!!!! of metal at the end of thier handle.:D

Way to go, brother, you got a damn good knife there, now go out and dirty it up and knock some of the black off it.

Its so pretty, I don't want to hurt it... but a jobs a job and it must get done. Unfortunately in the great white north my outdoors options are limited although present. Ill post pics as soon as I get out there, probably going snowshoeing saturday.
 
I would love to trade areas of residence for a month !! Love Texas, but we are doing good to get 3 inches of snow once a winter. We won't get any snow this winter, has been very mild for us thus far. My BK-09 would get so much more of a workout up there!!
