Wish me luck, finals week just started for me, and this is an important one for me. My grades will determine the next few years of my life. If they're high enough, then I don't have to change plans. If not, well drastic changes will be in order. I know I can do this, I just hope I can focus enough to do it. So I have several assignments to finish up and turn in in the next day or so, and I have a final scheduled at 0700 every day for the next three days. And then I've got another final that I can take anytime but I don't feel ready for. I'm starting to wish I'd gotten my plane ticket for Saturday instead of Friday. It would be one more day available to study and prepare.

Here's hoping for good results.

finished my finals Thursday!
2 B's and 1 A
only had 3 courses this term
well that and I finished my degree as well!

Two down, two to go. So far they've been easy, but the other finals I expect to be harder.

From Wiki:
GEOINT encompasses all aspects of imagery (including capabilities formerly referred to as Advanced Geospatial Intelligence and imagery-derived MASINT) and geospatial information and services (GI&S); formerly referred to as mapping, charting, and geodesy). It includes, but is not limited to, data ranging from the ultraviolet through the microwave portions of the electromagnetic spectrum, as well as information derived from the analysis of literal imagery; geospatial data; and information technically derived from the processing, exploitation, literal, and non-literal analysis of spectral, spatial, temporal, radiometric, phase history, polarimetric data, fused products (that is products created out of two or more data sources), and the ancillary data needed for data processing and exploitation, and signature information (to include development, validation, simulation, data archival, and dissemination). These types of data can be collected on stationary and moving targets by electro-optical (to include IR, MWIR, SWIR TIR, Spectral, MSI, HSI, HD), SAR (to include MTI), related sensor programs (both active and passive) and non-technical means (to include geospatial information acquired by personnel in the field).[2
Dang Scara! Im a geologist and I had to look that one up! Good luck man! I dont think they had satellites when I was in skool. I do speak spanish;)

Right now I'm just cursing at the computer because the website I need to download imagery from won't give me imagery in all the bands I need. It only gives me Red, Green and Blue, but I need to go all the way into Shortwave Infrared and it won't give it to me. I'm actively considering two options: go up to the roof and drop the computer, and then pick it up again and drop it again. That should equal a 28 story drop. Option 2 is ripping off all my clothes and then grabbing the shemagh from my backpack, wearing it like a cape and walking home. Current temperature is 34º.

So in the end I didn't end up doing any of the things mentioned in the above post. I eventually got the necessary imagery, but then discovered that trying to zoom (which was necessary for the assignment) would cause the program to crash. I will be informing the professor, but there's not much more I can do about that. So, 1.5 finals to go. Unfortunately the next up is stats, which worries me greatly.

Glad to hear you didn't succumb. Neither idea sounded like it would result in a perfect ending, or even a good ending!

Close, So close, Just hang in a little longer and you can enjoy the holidays free from that particular set of stresses :) Bet you are looking forward to being able to say those tests are behind you :D

Yes, unfortunately the final that worried me didn't go so well, and like I mentioned before, I have a lot riding on this semester.

By the way, I discovered last night that the in addition to the temperature being 34º, it was also windy. That would have made the shemagh cape extra interesting.
