Finback-HT with Segmented Spacer

Okay only the second knife I've done this on, ironically they are both the same design. Takes me a very long time to get these spacers right. Lots of milling to get them right. Including the Amboyna Burl Handle there are 6 pieces of wood in there.

Specs:
Steel - CPM154CM
Guard - 416SS
Spacer - 3 segments of Maple, Walnut, and Redwood Burl surrounded 2 pieces of Maple Burl
Handle - Amboyna Burl

All wood is stabilized. Like always sheath was made by me.

The spacer is cool, would love to see other variations of materials. This seems like it would be a good self defense knife, maybe with a different carry option to conceal it.
 
Thanks guys. Yep Mark you've got the first one and the more upscale version!

I agree Jon that blade does have a tactical feel to it. Although I'd most likely design the handle a little differently for a tactical knife and you're right a different sheath configuration.
