Mmmm Ka-Bar Dozier <$20. Scallion is nice but both the recurve and assisted opening doesn't really do it for me. I have one, don't get me wrong, but I am just responding to the thread title!

Nice gun too.

My Skyline was $25, I like both of these a lot. I also could take or leave the assist. The tip lock is kinda neat. My wife was looking at it and commented that it could prevent an unwanted vasectomy.

The blur de-assisted is the smoothest knife you can get for that money. I usually take out the safety. It's just another thing to annoy me.

Yup, that's a good deal. I'd rather have a stainless CRKT Drifter though (currently $17 on the big site named after a river) but then again, I find assist mechanisms and safeties more annoying than useful.

Mr. Kershawguy gave me a free Chill several weeks ago (because I bought so many Blurs from him :)), but the next best thing might be that $22 Scallion. And chicks love that XXXX on the blade, btw - they think it means you are hot stuff.

The Scallion is a very cool, and often overlooked knife. I dig the camo handles. I'd be careful not to misplace it while out in the sticks though. It might disappear. You got a great deal.
