How do I? Find my old messages, or send a message to someone?

I'm trying to find my old messages in my conversations folder, they are not there. Only a warning that I received almost ten years ago, that I cannot delete.
Am I able to contact members that I have dealt with in the past so I can ask questions about sales between us? I was able to leave feedback for a member I purchase from, but can't figure out how to pm or email them to ask them to leave feedback for me.
 
It appears you are just a registered member currently, so you don't have the conversation feature currently. I am unsure if old messages got deleted or just aren't visible to you now that you aren't a paid member, but until you upgrade you won't be able to receive any messages other than from the moderators/staff. Contact by E-mail is currently in the works but not available currently, so no way to contact anybody except through profile posts (visitor messages under a new name).
 
You're not showing as having a paid membership. Without a membership you won't have access to private messages.
 
Interesting...so unless I pay now after having access to these things previously for almost ten years, I'm basically reduced to posting on threads only?
 
Before the upgrade and now the only way to have private messages is with a paid membership.
 
Insipid Moniker, how do I do what you mentioned on my profile page? I can't post in an old thread I made as it's closed, (I recall that I closed it), to bring up the other members name so I can post on his profile, (like you recently did on mine)
 
hi Rycen,it's a very difficult task to PM or e-mail,previously that was a lot easier!how can this be solved?

D D-Roc - you apparently have never had a paid membership, so you never sent private messages. What you previously were doing was using visitor posts on your profile to have conversations with others.
 
I realize I had no pm option. Thanks for reiterating this. I could send emails, will this be reinstalled? Also, is it still possible to post on someone's profile, because I can't seem to do this either.
All my old emails are gone, are those only accessible with pm privileges?

I'm stating this because your thread title & OP would indicate you did. I'm responding that you did not because you aren't the only person who will be reading this thread and we try to minimize answering the same questions over and over again by encouraging people to read before posting.

This has been disabled temporarily as we received reports of registered users selling items via profile posts rather than purchasing the required subscriptions. I haven't made a final decision as to whether it will be restored.
 
I was able to start a conversation with someone through email means. Is that no longer available?
 
So previously, the issue was registered members selling items as opposed to having to be a gold member to sell?

Do a search for his username and you should be able to get to the profile through that.

Xenforo, for whatever reason, has chosen not to incorporate the ability for users to contact each other via email. I was unaware of this until people like yourself informed me of it. When I questioned them about it, they stated they didn't want to include that ability.

Yes, and using profile posts to do so.
